- that water and all creatures in it are the greatest artists;
- that the sea will show you where the land is;
- that the shells and rocks look prettiest while they're in the water and are less colorful, even dull, when you bring them home;
- that the ocean is the greatest lover - giving everything and never expecting anything in return;
- that teeny tiny baby crabs are exactly perfect miniature replicas of the fully grown ones from their first moments of existence;
- that the ocean is completely consistently wild, unpredictable, and naturally unchanging;
- that to the fish, the snails, the clams there is no understanding of humanity;
- that there is nothing greater than the ocean;
- that the tide doesn't care what time it is;
- that living sand dollars actually lie star-side-down which is mouth-side-up;
- that salt water contains a large number of minerals and trace elements besides salt - like gold;
- that touching the ocean is like touching all the beaches on all the coastlines on all the continents without going anywhere;
- that there is nothing we disregard more than our ocean;
- that I am seriously, madly, deeply in love with this water we call the ocean.
